Sarah Quinlan has over 20 years of competitive equestrian experience. She loves sharing her passion for horses with others and has extensive teaching experience - students range from children and adults learning how to ride and care for horses, to young riders and adults advancing through recognized levels of equine competition in multiple diciplines. Sarah is a licensed MA riding instructor, a PATH Int. Registered Instructor, Open Horse Show Judge through NC State, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts.
Sarah is based out of Russell's Reach Farm located in Wilmington, NC.
Sarah's philosophy is based on the Training Scale and principles of classical training for horse and rider. She does not believe in short cuts or fast training methods. The horses’ wellbeing is paramount and is kept in mind at all times. Training is systematic, progressive, and fair to the horse. The results are a relaxed, supple, confident, and attentive horse that is a pleasure to own and ride.
